Point Dume State Beach was by no means an out-of-the-way, abandoned stretch of beach. It was popular, a hotspot for local surfers and scuba divers and a great place just to hang out and swim besides. Despite the winter lingering in most worlds, the skies of Destiny Islands were as clear and bright as ever, the palm trees thriving and the sea breeze slightly chilled. And of course, there's the fair city itself. Take a walk along the streets and poke your nose into some shops, buy a new bathingsuit or try all the different ice cream stands.

On another section of beach behind the beach house are the city docks, stuffed with boats and overpopulated with fishers. Rods can be rented from a little place at the head of docks, so feel free to try and catch some dinner.

Past where the beach turns into grass, a public beach house can be found, with a still pond out front and cool, open-air halls with wicker chairs facing the beach. Bathrooms and changerooms are within, along with a little gelato stand.

The main beach extends pretty far in both directions, and the further you go the more of a change there is. To the west the coast turns rocky, with nooks and wind-carved cliffs. A good place for exploring, or catching crabs.
